- Tracks can be send to us in a number of ways and should be completely edited and ready for mixing, otherwise we also offer editing services to get your tracks.
- Accepted formats are consolidated tracks, AAF files, Pro Tools and Cubase/Nuendo project files.
- Do not convert the tracks in any way, they should be kept in the same format (Bit depth and Sample Rate) as they have been recorded.
- Our rates per song are based on how many tracks there are. Our base price is for up to 24 tracks per song. If a couple of your songs (meaning 1-3) in a 10 song mixing project have a few more than 24 tracks, don't worry. Just include them as 24 tracks along with the other ones. Just let us know beforehand.
- Upon receiving your tracks we will evaluate the quality to make sure everything sounds right and may suggest additional services if needed.
Our Mastering process will polish your stems or stereo mixes; making your music sound well-balanced, with appropriate loudness, while maintaining a proper dynamic range and ready for modern distribution.
We offer:
- Stereo file mastering
- Basic stem mastering (two Stereo files, ex. Music and Vocals)
- Full stem Mastering (up to 10 Stems)
- UNMIX-ing and (re-)mixing and mastering services
- Restoration and denoising
Important information:
- Do not convert your sample rates from the original recording.
- Do not add dithering.
- Do not perform any general fade ins / fade outs (unless they are part of the arrangemt or on individual instruments.
Many web based mastering solutions may seem attractive to independent musicians because of the low price, but they don't always work. Specially if the mix is not perfect or sounds muddy. These solutions may make your music sound louder, generally brighter and correct the overall tonal balance, but they will not correct certain mixing mistakes, nor address specific elements or moments in the arrangement. Some instruments might en up sounding too bright, the vocals too harsh and other elements might get distorted in the process. This is why it is still advised to leave your tracks in the hands of a professional mastering engineer.
We offer unique, tailored mastering for every song, every project and every style. Our experienced engineers, will address specific issues of a mix and will even evaluate your tracks prior to mastering and alert you about certain issues of your mix or editing mistakes, so you can go back and fix them.
A clean edit is very important and this can include choosing and comping a musical performance from several takes, making them flow by adjusting timing, matching volumes and adjusting crossfades, so that these edits will sound natural. It can also be fixing a musical performance by rhythm editing, cutting flaws, unwanted noises and pitch correcting.

Are your tacks ready for mixing or do they need additional editing, rhythm editing or vocal tuning?
- Note if you choose to edit only one track the other tracks may need to be corrected as well for everything to match up. Depending on the drummers timing and accuracy it might be better to use the drum track as a basis and sync all the other instruments to it.
- You may send us a Pro Tools, Cubase session otherwise you may have to export an OMF, consolidate or export all of your tracks separately.
